Warriors Star Performers:  won the long jump, triple jump, 50 high hurdles and 50 low hurdles. added a victory in the 1,600 while won the pole vault. The 4 x 800 Relay team of Tristen Nunez, Gold, Patrick Brunk and Makoto Bowering took that event.

Other Notable Warrior Performances:       Grabbing second place finishes for Deerfield were Austin Jones in the long jump and high jump, Luke Williams in the triple jump, Donald Middlebrook in the pole vault, Geoff Heiser in the 50 and 200, Bowering in the 800 and Heiser in the 200.

Who’s Next:   The Warriors   compete in the Central Suburban League Meet at 4:30 p.m. Friday at Glenbrook North. 

The Bottom Line:      The Warriors kept the District 113 trophy in Deerfield for the seventh year in a row. Katz broke the field house record for the long jump with a leap of 43-6 and tied the record in the high hurdles with a 6.6 clocking.
