Who’s Next:   The Warriors continue their quest in the Pepsi Challenge at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at York. 

The Bottom Line:      Deerfield outshot Huntley 12-6 but could not put a goal on the scoreboard to end up with their fourth scoreless tie of the season. In the first half, the Warriors limited the Red Raiders to two shots. Deerfield is 3-2-5 for the season.

Warriors Star Performer:    Max Mazzetta threw a complete game holding the Wildkits to four hits while striking out five and walking only one (intentionally).

Other Notable Warrior Performances:       Ryan Adkins was 1 – for – 2 at the plate with a double.

Who’s Next:   The Warriors entertain Stevenson at 1 p.m. Saturday. 

The Bottom Line:      Heading into the bottom of the seventh inning with a scoreless tie, the Wildkits pushed a run across the plate on a two-out base hit to defeat Deerfield. The Warriors are now 4-8 for the season.
