Warriors Star Performers:   Jordan Fine set things up with 18 assists as well as adding a kill and an ace. Zach Hara notched six kills and two digs while Kenison Ready had five kills and a dig. 

Other Notable Warrior Performances:       Jake Brody had eight digs and an ace, Eli Schmidt chipped in four kills as well as an ace and a dig while John Harlan added three kills and two digs.

Who’s Next:   The Warriors entertain Glenbrook North at 6 p.m. today. 

The Bottom Line:      Deerfield extended its winning streak to nine games and Eugene Chung likes the way his team has been coming together. “We're able to get a lot out of our offense on account of the way we're passing lately,” Chung said in an email. “Jordan Fine is making some great decisions setting the ball and giving our hitters some room to get their kills.” The Warriors are 22-3 for the season and 7-1 in the Central Suburban League North Division.

Warriors Star Performer:    Addison Jacoby provided the offensive punch with a 2 – for – 3 day at the plate. 

Other Notable Warrior Performance:        David Silberberg held the Hawks to five hits in a losing effort. 

Who’s Next:   The Warriors entertain Niles North at 4:45 a.m. today. 

The Bottom Line:      Deerfield took an early lead before the Hawks scored all their runs in the fourth inning. The Warriors saw scoring threats evaporate into double plays three times.
