Warrior Wrestlers Take First

Bess, Kirby pace Deerfield at Wheaton-Warrenville South tournament.

Dec. 28 

The Final Score:        won the Wheaton-Warrenville South Invitational with 234 points finishing ahead of second place Yorkville (210.5), Bartlett in third (164) and nine other teams. 

Warriors Star Performers:  (220) and (195) won individual championships.

Other Notable Warrior Performances:       Jordan Lieberman (106), Christian Hoogheem (120), Tyler Pohn (170) and J.J. Nawrot (285) earned second place finishes while Keven Hoogheem (113) and Lenny Bloom (145) earned third place honors.

Who’s Next:   The Warriors compete in a four-way meet at 9 a.m. Friday at Lakes High School.

The Bottom Line:      Thirteen Warriors contributed points as Deerfield added a first place trophy to their 11-0 dual meet record.
