The Bottom Line:      York scored its first two goals early and Deerfield could not recover.

Girls’ Water Polo 

The Final Score:        Deerfield-Highland Park 10, Rolling Meadows 6; Libertyville 12, Deerfield-Highland Park 4; Elk Grove 9, Deerfield-Highland Park 5; Maine East 13, Deerfield-Highland Park 3.

Warrior-Giants Star Performer:     Melissa Barraza scored 10 goals in the four games and was named to the all-tournament team.

Who’s Next:   The Warrior-Giants entertain Maine East at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

The Bottom Line:      Deerfield-Highland Park is improving every game, according to Coach Kyle Iverson.
