Deerfield High School volleyball team extends record to 15-3. Baseball team falls to Niles West.

The Final Score:        Deerfield defeated Maine West, 25-17 and 25-12.

Warriors Star Performers:  Zach Hara recorded 10 kills, two aces and a dig while John Harlan added eight kills and six digs. Jordan Fine helped out with 22 assists, four digs and two aces.

Other Notable Warrior Performances:       Kenison Ready, Eric Slepian and Eli Schmidt each had two kills. Slepian added three digs while Ready had a pair. Schmidt served two aces.

Who’s Next:   The Warriors travel to Highland Park at 6 p.m. Tuesday. 

The Bottom Line:      “This is one of the most coachable teams I've had and it's great to have everyone on the same page so far this season,” Coach Eugene Chung said after the game. Deerfield is 15-3 for the season and 5-1 in the Central Suburban League North Division.

The Final Score:        Niles West 4, Deerfield 3 (8 innings) 

Warriors Star Performers:  Brad Weaver and Dillon Wallace had multiple hits for Deerfield.

Who’s Next:   The Warriors travel to Highland Park at 4:45 p.m. today. 

The Bottom Line:      Deerfield collected ten hits in the game and left 12 runners on base while falling in extra innings. The Warriors are 8-5 for the season while the rain or cold has claimed 15 games.
