Wilmot Spelling Bee Title Goes to Charlson

District 109 schools hold competitions this week and next.

fifth grader Elana Charlson won the school’s Spelling Bee Wednesday when she spelled rhythmic correctly in the 16th round.

Matthew Seltzer, a fourth grader, was second while another fourth grade student, Lexie Kolton was third.

Classroom champions for the fifth grade other than Charlson are Maddy Glaws, Marissa Reiken Brendan Budge and Nicole Piatek. In addition to Seltzer and Kloton, fourth grade classroom winners are Charlie Samson, Brody Criz and Tyler Lowis.
