Fresh Thyme Opening Draws Crowds, Early Birds

Deerfield’s Fresh Thyme Farmers Market opened this week at 35 Waukegan Road, joining the Mount Prospect store as the second Fresh Thyme in Illinois.

People started lining up at 3:30 a.m., according to an article in the Deerfield Review, with more than 300 in line for the 7 a.m. grand opening.

The early-bird lure was a giveaway of a reusable bag filled with healthy grocery products for the first 250 customers. The store prides itself on focusing on fresh, healthy organic choices at good prices.
