Jumping off to an early lead, the Broncos outlasted the Cubs, 10-5, to win the championship game Monday at Jewett Park.
Parker Sondag and led the Angels offense. Tommy Stark, Justin Pottinger, Danny Raske and Zak Raske provided the pitching and defense necessary to cuff the Cubs.

The Cubs were not without a solid effort for several players including Hunter Roberts and Jordan Feinberg. They starred on the mound and at the plate.
In other related DYBA news, the 10th annual wood bat tournament will be played today through Sunday at Jewett Park. This event is for travel teams from the area from ages 9 through 14. They must use wood bats.

Saturday evening will be Bat Fest at Jewett Park with food music and games, according to event coordinator Kathy Weinstein.
