Cameras Catch Bulls Player Yelling Gay Slur

Joakim Noah could face fine for lash out at heckling fan.

Bulls star Joakim Noah had a lot to apologize for after Sunday night’s loss to the Miami Heat.

Besides a poor performance on the court, the Chicago center was allegedly caught by TNT cameras yelling “f*** you F***ot at a heckling fan.

"A fan said something and I said something back. I apologize. I don't know what's going to happen,” Noah told reporters after the game. “I don't mean no disrespect to anybody. I just got caught up."

LA Lakers Kobe Bryant faced a $100,000 fine after a similar slip-up last month.

“We need to get to a point where you don't use an anti-gay slur to respond to events,” said Joe Solmonese, President of the Human Rights Campaign. “It's just plain unacceptable. At a time when the NBA and a growing number of pro-athletes are publicly standing up for equality, it’s too bad Mr. Noah worked against their efforts last night.”
