Deerfield Girl Takes Bronze at Taekwondo Jr. Olympics

Natella Parasadayan, 10, came in third place in July for board breaking at the USA Taekwondo Junior Olympics in Dallas, Texas, the 'Deerfield Review' reports.

Ten-year-old Natella Parasadayan of Deefield has a lot to be proud of, after bringing home a broze medal for board breaking from the USA Taekwondo Junior Olympics this past July, according to the Deerfield Review

Parasadayan, who holds a black belt, competed in Dallas, Texas, amongst 3,000 competitors in categories including form, board breaking, sparring and weapons, the article reports. 

In March, Parasadayan won a first place medal for form in the USA Taekwondo Illinois State Championship, according to the Deefield Review
