Deerfield Girl Takes Bronze at Taekwondo Jr. Olympics

Ten-year-old Natella Parasadayan of Deefield has a lot to be proud of, after bringing home a broze medal for board breaking from the USA Taekwondo Junior Olympics this past July, according to the Deerfield Review.
Parasadayan, who holds a black belt, competed in Dallas, Texas, amongst 3,000 competitors in categories including form, board breaking, sparring and weapons, the article reports.
In March, Parasadayan won a first place medal for form in the USA Taekwondo Illinois State Championship, according to the Deefield Review.
