DHS Boys Lacrosse Advances to Quarter Finals

The exciting win happened in double overtime. The team will play York on Tuesday at Deerfield High School.

Catherine Kedjidjian, communications director for District 109 and mom of lacrosse player, Evan Kedjidjian, sent us this report from yesterday's game:

The Deerfield High School boys lacrosse team beat Marian Catholic in the second round of playoffs for the Lacrosse Cup, 12-11 in double overtime. Goals by Andrew Small (4), Ben Singer (3), Mike Puccio and Jack Purdy (2 each) and Henri Beaudoin (1). After a key save by goalie Kedjidjian, Mike Puccio scored the winning goal in sudden death. 

The Warriors will have a home game Tuesday in the quarterfinal round against DHS will face York, who beat St. Francis tonight. Time TBD.
