DHS Swimmers Edge Niles North
Solid performances by Deerfield High School girls' swim paves way to win over Vikings.

The Final Score: Deerfield 99, Niles North 84
Warriors’ Star Performers: Winners were Lauren Kurzyldo in the 200-yard freestyle, Ruby Powell in the 50 freestyle, Sabrina Linton in diving and Maddie Wilson in the 100 backstroke. Wilson and Kurzyldo teamed with Lily Booker and Becca Rosenberg to win the 200 medley relay. Wilson also placed second in the 200 individual medley and 100 breaststroke while Powell did the same in the 100 freestyle. Booker earned runner up honors in the 100 backstroke.
