If you are looking for excitement and company to watch the Stanley Cup hockey game between the Chicago Blackhawks and the Phoenix Coyotes at 9 p.m., will be offering a host of festivities.
An official Blackhawk bar, the Deerfield tavern always offers its customers something special during a Blackhawks game, according to manager Robby Cohn.
“It’s crazy in here. People come in their jerseys.” Cohn said. “We don’t know what it will be yet, but we always do something. When they won Saturday, people were standing on the bar stools,” Cohn said referring to the Blackhawks sudden death overtime victory over the Coyotes.
In the past people like Hall of Famer Bobby Hull have watched with the crowd at Trax.
Cohn promises the “usual” specials for his customers. The game is a must for Chicago. Phoenix leads the series 3-1 and a loss will end the season for the local team.
