Porter Leads Warriors Past Maine East

Deerfield High School guard has career night in team's seventh win.

Eric Porter did not miss many shots in Deerfield High School’s 73-59 home victory over Maine West Friday and the result was a career night for the Warrior guard.

On his way to scoring a career high 32 points, Porter made two thirds of his shots from the field, including from three-point range, and was a perfect six for six from the free throw line. He connected on 10 of the 15 shots he tried from the floor.

Not content to be only an offensive star, Porter stole the ball twice, deflected it three times and grabbed four rebounds, all on defense.
