Register Now for Deer Dash and Tinman Triathlon
Advanced registration is suggested for the Deer Dash on May 5 and the Tinman Triathlon on June 8 in Deerfield.

With the first Sunday in May comes Deer Dash in Deerfield, a 5K, 10K, and 1-mile Fun Run open to families or anyone age 8 and older.

Deer Dash is scheduled for Sunday, May 5 at Jaycee Park, and is designed for both beginning and experienced runners with enough to challenge competitors at all levels.
The course is flat/residential. There are no age group awards. Everyone who finishes is a winner.

The fee, which includes a T-shirt, race packet and refreshments is $20 for district residents and $25 per non-resident before May 2. Registrations will be accepted on race day if there is room.
"Deer Dash will help you sharpen your competitive skills in running and get in shape for other area events. We warmly welcome your participation and hope you will make this event a must on your yearly athletic calendar," said Jeff Napolski, race coordinator.
Deer Dash is organized and run by the Coho Swim Club.
The Tinman Triathlon (Swim-Bike-Run) is scheduled for Saturday, June 8, at Deerspring Park.
The event is open to anyone age 8 and older and includes a 300 meter Swim (6 lengths in a 50 meter pool), 6-mile Bike Ride (w/required helmet) and 3-mile Run.
Register with activity number 463301. Registrations will be accepted on race day if there is room.
Participant numbers are issued in advance, based on submitted swim times; and competitors will start the swim in numerical order. A maximum is set at 200 participants.
The Tinman Triathlon, sponsored by our Coho Swim Club, is designed for experienced triathletes and beginning participants and offers enough to challenge competitors of all levels.
There are no age group awards. Everyone who finishes is a winner.
The fee is $30 per district resident and $35 per non-resident if paid before June 6. Race fee includes a Triathlon T-shirt, race packet and refreshments.
