Records: Deerfield (12-15, 4-6) Highland Park (18-8, 10-0)

Key Players: The Giants had four players in double figures.  Sophomore Lena Munzer led the way with 15 points.  Senior Laura Evans also hit three, three pointers in the first quarter and scored 12 points for the game.  Seniors Brianna Collier and Emily Feldman chipped in 11 and 10 respectively.  Kathleen Forrest scored 13 for Deerfield.  Liz Yucknut scored 10 and Dana Mueller chipped in eight.

Key Stat:  With the game tied 33-33 entering the fourth quarter, the Giants went on a 13-5 run to put the game away.  Munzer scored 11 of her game high 15 points during that stretch, with seven of those points coming from offensive rebounds.  Deerfield made sure it was a tight game down to the end after outscoring Highland Park 14-2 in the second quarter.

Quote of the night: Highland Park Senior Guard Emily Feldman on going 10-0 in the CSL North and winning a second straight conference title - "Last year, we were 9-1 and it was really disappointing because we lost our last game.  So this year, we were trying to go 10-0 and that was one of our main goals of the season.  The whole season we've been working to achieve that and today was just amazing."
