Warrior Boys Swimming Finishes 5th at Sectionals

Three Deerfield High School team members also took the top two spots in the diving competition to advance to the state finals, along with a third individual athlete.

The Deerfield High School boys swimming and diving team finished in fifth place at this weekend's sectional tournament at Glenbrook North High School. 

The team had 136 points, behind winner Glenbrook North, which earned 185 points. 

Sophmore Sean Scarry and Junior Ryan Church took the number one and two spots in the diving competition, earning them a trip to the state finals this weekend at New Trier High School. Also advancing in individual competition is Freshman Ryan Smith, who finished fourth in the 100-yard backstroke.
