Warriors Place 10th in Cross Country Invitational

All Deerfield High School runners place in top 25 percent of field.

The Final Score:  Deerfield finished 10th out of 17 teams at the Hinsdale Central Invitational missing ninth by four points. 

Warriors’ Star Performers: Maor Kramer placed 43rd out of 366 runners with Alex Wolfe 51st, Reilly Grant 55th, Billy Anderson 77th and Davey Bickore 83rd.

Who’s Next:   The Warriors compete in the Notre Dame Invitational at 9 a.m. Saturday in Peoria. 

The Bottom Line:      This meet featured some of the state’s top talent and Coach Jeremy Kauffman felt his team’s top 10 finish bodes well for the season ahead. “Almost all (of the runners) set personal records,” he said.
