How to Watch Matt Grevers on TV in the 2012 Olympics

Lake Forest’s Matt Grevers will be making his second appearance at the Olympics competing in men’s swimming. The Northwestern graduate will be looking to improve on his 2008 silver medal performance in the backstroke.

Grevers will begin his competition in the 100m backstroke. His competition will begin with the preliminaries on Sunday at 11 a.m. London time or 5 a.m. here. Should Grevers advance to the semifinals, they will also be Sunday at 10:25 p.m. in London and 4:25 p.m. in Chicago. The top eight times in the semifinals will advance to the finals Monday at 7:56 p.m. in London time or 1:56 p.m. here.

Grevers will be part of the 4x100 freestyle relay along with Cullen Jones, Nathan Adrian and Ricky Berens. The group will compete in the preliminaries on Sunday at 11:53 a.m. in London or 5:53 p.m. here. The finals at 4:54 p.m. Chicago time Sunday.

Grevers can be seen streamed live on Comcast for all of his competition. The swimming finals for each event will also be broadcast live on NBC (WMAQ TV, Ch. 5 in Chicago).
