Deerfield 12U Gray Wins Team Relay Competition at Cooperstown!

Deerfield's 12 Gray accomplished something that has never been done for DYBA Travel Baseball on their annual trip to Cooperstown, they won the Team Relay Skills Competition during the opening ceremonies.  After all the years of practicing fundamentals, which is a DYBA Travel trademark, the hard work paid off as they held off the Long Island Falcons in the finals to win the skills competition.

The boys flawlessly executed cut throws from left field, center field and right field to record the best time of 23.2 seconds, besting 30 other teams from around the country. This was the only team event during the Opening Ceremonies and the boys represented DYBA Travel well.

The team, managed by Andy Goldberg and coached by DHS graduate Paul DeLucia, consists of Max Goodhart, Jon Lazarus, Charlie Scornavacco, Noah Karmel, Simon Karmel, Tom Conzemius, Ethan Saks, Tyler Lewis, Danny Raske, Cole Valfer, Reed Brockstein and Eli Golden.
