TRYOUT DATES FOR 2014 DYBA TRAVEL TEAMS

TRYOUTS FOR 2014 DEERFIELD WARRIORS TRAVEL BASEBALL BEGIN AUGUST 22 AND 23 FOR 14U!!!!!

Having just completed a hugely successful 2013 campaign, DYBA's baseball travel program is already looking forward to next season, with our 9U through 14U teams trying out over the next few months as listed by age group below.  Our 8U teams will tryout over the winter, with those dates TBD.  

To be eligible to play Deerfield Travel Baseball, a player must be eligible to attend either Deerfield School District 109 or Bannockburn School District 106 or reside in the "option area" of Highland Park as designated by High School District 113 (i.e. west of Route 41).  Age eligibility -- to be eligible for 9U, a player must not turn 10 years of age prior to May 1, 2014, and so forth for each age.  

There are no set limits on the number of teams that may be rostered at each age-group, depending on overall interest and other factors to be determined following the tryouts.  So if you have an interest in wearing the Deerfield Warriors red and gray, and playing competitive baseball for Deerfield's developmental/feeder program with the most dedicated and skilled coaches in the area, then do not hesitate to suit-up and tryout.  As the dates get closer, please continue to check the travel baseball page at dyba.com for more detailed information.

13U- 9/10*** and 9/12 (***9/10 tryout will be at North Park in Lincolnshire at 7 pm) 

12U- 9/19 and 9/20

11U- 9/26 and 9/27

10U- 10/3 and 10/4

9U- 10/10 and 10/11

• 7:00 pm start (6:30 pm check-in), end-times to be announced upon arrival
• Players must attend BOTH tryout dates for the age-group they are trying out for
• Players should dress for baseball and bring all equipment to both nights
• Please wear no Deerfield Travel caps or jerseys
• Tryout forms will be available at check-in
• Standard age-eligibility applies (ie., to be eligible for 9U, a player must not turn 10 years of age prior to May 1, 2014, and so forth).  Players can tryout for only one age-group
