WARRIORS 10 RED TAKE EVANSTON STARS AND STRIPES TO CAP A GREAT 2013

Deerfield's 10 Red team finished off a 32-12 season with a championship at the Stars and Stripes tournament in Evanston over the weekend. Deerfield went through the seeding round with a 3-0 record and played Evanston Blue in the championship. In the championship, Deerfield battled throughout and held off Evanston for an 8-6 victory.

For the season, the 10 Red won their Roger Maris division in MSBL, took the title at their host Wooden Bat tournament and finished with this most recent title at Evanston. The team is led by Terry Platt, Adam Lewis, Hal Wood, Luke Nagelbach and Aidan Epstein.
