The Deerfield Farmers Market was abuzz with people buying fruits, vegetables, meat and a lot more Saturday morning.
There were new vendors as well as returning sellers from as close as Prairie View and as far away as Michigan.
In addition to people browsing the food offerings, there was music and an opportunity to volunteer. The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit in Riverwoods was there holding a bake sale and encouraging people to participate in Habitat for Humanity.
On Tuesday, Patch will have a more detailed feature story on the opining of the Farmers Market. For now, pleae enjoy the pictures.
