A year ago the Police won the contest but the Fire Department has been working on an assortment of burger combinations, according to Fire Chief Ian Kazian. “The guys have been testing four of five recipes and I’m confident they’ll come up with the right one to beat the cops,” he said. “It will be sweet revenge.”

Police Chief John Sliozis is equally confident his forces will earn another trophy. “They haven’t beat us yet,” he said. “I think that sums it up.”
