The Board of Directors is the publicly-elected governing body of the Deerfield Public Library. It consists of seven members and meets monthly in public session in the Library's downstairs meeting room at 7 pm on the third Wednesday of each month unless the Board schedules otherwise. Mr. Ken Abosch is the current Board president. Ms. Mary Pergander is the Library Director in charge of staff and administrative affairs. She reports directly to the Board of Directors.
