Pooch Parade: Watch Dogs Strut Their Stuff

Neighborhood pets crowd the streets raising money for local shelter.

Pets and their owners turned out for 's 5th annual Pooch Parade on Saturday.

The event was a fundraiser for the Riverwoods charity. Last year 100 pups marched in the parade raising more than $10,000.

The march kicked off at 9:30 a.m. at in Deerfield. However, the scheduled 2-mile route was shorted a bit because of Mother Nature’s rain.
