The company is urging consumers to vote for their favorite local shelter or rescue organization on its Facebook page. One of the options is , a local facility that houses abused and abandoned animals in Riverwoods.
$25,000 worth of food and supplies will be dished out to one facility around Chicago and another in Southern California.
“Kriser’s has always been passionate about supporting local shelters and rescue organizations, and we are thrilled to continue to help them in our local communities,” said Brad Kriser, founder and CEO, Kriser’s. “With the support of our partners such as Canidae, Merrick and WellPet, we hope the donation of food and supplies will make a difference for the animals and staff at these two organizations.”
Anyone can vote online up until July 18 by clicking here. As of Monday night, Orphans had received a total of 16 votes. According to contest rules each person can vote once every 24 hours, up to 21 times.
