Whole Foods Raises Thousands for Local Scholars
5 percent of sales donated to DBR Chamber of Commerce.
$4,193 was recently donated to the College Scholarship Fund thanks to a special fundraiser at in Deerfield.
On April 5th, the market agreed to fork over 5 percent of the location’s daily sales which netted thousands for the chamber’s “Dollars for Scholars” program.
According to chamber officials, the organization awards $11,000 each year to graduating high school seniors in the 60015 zip code.
