Interest in a report by Deerfield Public Schools District 109 Superintendent Michael Lubelfeld on his middle school task force at 7 p.m. Monday has caused a switch in the location of the Board of Education meeting to the Caruso Middle School auditorium.

Growing out of a study on foreign languages offered last spring, Lubelfeld expanded the project and formed a task force to dig into the full spectrum of the curriculum at Caruso and Shepard Middle Schools. The initial report will be made Monday.

The report will be preceded by an update from Shepard staff on the new middle school model. A complete agenda is contained on the District’s website.

Whitewash. The sheer size of the task force and the way it was structured, and conducted points to the board staging the project to conclude with their pretdetermined "findings".
