109 To Discuss Pilot Kindergarten Program
District 109 Board will talk about its audited financial report, pilot kindergarten plan Monday.
A discussion of the a pilot kindergarten intervention program is one of the items on the agenda when the Deerfield Public Schools District 109 Board of Education meets at 7 p.m. Monday at the District Center.
The program will help identify kindergartners who need additional attention to start first grade on an equal footing with all other students, according to District 109 Communications Director Cathy Kedjidjian.
The Board will also hear about the District’s certified annual financial report, new job descriptions for some of its employees and more. The complete agenda is contained in the District’s website.
