Few Deerfield Restaurants Open Christmas
Grocery stores will be closed but Walgreens remains open.
People in Deerfield will need to have their Christmas dinner shopping done by 6 p.m. Tuesday when the area’s grocery stores close and Patch can find only one restaurant open for those dining out Christmas Day.
All locations for Sunset Foods, Jewel-Osco, and Whole foods as well as the Bannockburn Dominick’s will close for the holiday at 6 p.m. Tuesday and be closed Christmas Day. Walgreens will be open.
The only restaurant Patch can find open is Rosebud. Those who wish to head a little to the east, three Chinese restaurants, Max’s and Denny’s will be open in Highland Park.
