Public Gets Its Say on Village Budget

Village Board will hold public hearing on 2014 budget at Monday's meeting. Fresh Thyme ordinance is also on agenda.

Members of the public who want to offer input into the 2014 Deerfield budget will have their opportunity when the Village Board of Trustees meets at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Village Hall.

As required by law, there will be a public hearing on next year’s budget during the meeting. Any citizen who wishes to make comments can do so.

Also on the agenda Monday is the second reading of the ordinance granting Fresh Thyme Farmers Market a special use permit to open its grocery store at Cadwell’s Corner.
