Library offers concert and storytelling while the Farmers' Market has its annual corn roast and Whole Foods celebrates a birthday.

Whether its music or storytelling, the Deerfield Public Library is the place to be this weekend.

The Library’s weekend starts with a concert by Jim Gill at 2 p.m. Saturday. If that is not enough, you can catch SHANTA telling stories at 2 p.m. Sunday.

Corn Roast at Farmers’ Market

Once a year, there is a corn roast at the Deerfield Farmers’ Market and that will happen between 7 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Saturday. Come early, this writer was too late for the corn last year and missed out on some fine tasting kernels.

Whole Foods Becomes a Teenager

Whole Foods will host its own birthday party as it enters its 13th year in Deerfield from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday. The hot dogs and cake will be free.
