Produce Abounds at Farmers' Market

Plenty of produce at the Deerfield Farmers’ Market and a free concert at Mitchell Park Pool are two highlights of Deerfield’s weekend.

Farmers’ Market

This is the prime season for locally grown fresh produce, according to Deerfield Farmers’ Market Manager Joan Reed. “This is peak season,” she said. “All the local (farmers) have everything. Everything you want is here.”

The market takes place from 7 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday in the parking lot at the intersection of Robert York Drive and Deerfield Road.

Final Say Performs at Mitchell Park Pool

Final Say, a group which plays classic rock, soul, Motown, New Wave and more, will perform from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Friday at the Mitchell Park Pool.
