Best of Patch: Deerfields Bakery Wins for Best Hamantaschen

New Patch series is off to a good start.

In the initial week of Patch’s Best of Deerfield series, the Hamantaschen from Deerfields Bakery was the runaway winner. With the Jewish holiday of Purim starting at sundown Wednesday, people celebrating the holiday will be rushing to buy the traditional triangular pastry eaten for the festivities and Patch wants them to know where to go. Of the 18 votes cast, 17 people chose Deerfields with one preferring the Z Best brand at Jewel. For those who want to sample the Hamantaschen at Whole Foods they can do that Wednesday to get them fresh just before the holiday starts. At Deerfields they are fresh each day. On Monday, Patch will publish the next in the Best of Deerfield series.
