24th Annual STUNTS Tremendous Success

A Deerfield High School Senior and STUNTS participant reports on this year’s very well attended and well-received show.

One could describe STUNTS as Deerfield High School's annual variety show, but that definition falls incredibly short in really explaining it. A variety show is one act and then another until the end. Even with a theme, there is little unity across all acts or bonds between all performers. This is not the case with STUNTS. STUNTS is not like most variety shows, especially ones completely student run. Senior Allie Benz and STUNTS production board member says STUNTS is "a place where students from all over the school can come together and give the gift of performance-based expression." The thunderous applause at the end of each act and standing ovation at the end of the show is testament to power of this gift, but you wouldn't get this …
