Police Blotter: Boyfriend Arrested for Domestic Battery and More

Domestic Battery Danilo Rentuma, 44, of Deerfield was arrested Dec. 16 for domestic battery after it was reported he slapped and choked his girlfriend at the Red Roof Inn, according to Deerfield Police reports. After police received a complaint from guests in nearby rooms at the motel about the disturbance and arrived at Rentuma’s room, he said there was nothing wrong, according to the report. The victim told a different story. According to the report, the Rentuma slapped and choked the victim as well as calling her a whore. He told her to sleep on the floor because she “was not worthy of sleeping in my bed.” There was no information on the amount of bond or a court date in the report. Disorderly Conduct Michael J.
