Domestic Battery Danilo Rentuma, 44, of Deerfield was arrested Dec. 16 for domestic battery after it was reported he slapped and choked his girlfriend at the Red Roof Inn, according to Deerfield Police reports. After police received a complaint from guests in nearby rooms at the motel about the disturbance and arrived at Rentuma’s room, he said there was nothing wrong, according to the report. The victim told a different story. According to the report, the Rentuma slapped and choked the victim as well as calling her a whore. UPDATE: Arraignment Set For Northbrook Man Charged With Felony Domestic Battery In 65th Arrest UPDATE: A Northbrook man charged with brutally beating a woman and threatening to kill her children appeared in Cook County Circuit Court in Skokie on Friday, Oct. 7.
