Fight on Basketball Court A “large fight” broke out on “the basketball court” in the 400 block of Lake Cook Road April 12, according to Deerfield Police reports. Though police were called, witnesses refused to tell the police what happened and a victim refused to provide his name or the name of the person who struck him, according to the report. No arrests were made. Theft Two disc brakes were taken April 8 from a driveway in front of a home in the 400 block of Longfellow Avenue, according to Deerfield Police reports. The victim placed six of the brakes at the end of the driveway and noticed two missing at 11:30 a.m. April 8. Erich Sanchez, 21, of Waukegan was arrested Nov. 13 for driving with a suspended license, no insurance and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, according to Deerfield Police reports. Police were investigating a crash at Lake Cook and Ellendale Roads when they discovered Sanchez did not have a license, according to the report. He was released on a $200 bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 1:30 p.m. Dec. 18 in Park City. Jose Lopez-Morales, 25, of Wheeling was arrested was arrested Nov. 10 for driving without a valid license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving with an expired registration, according to Deerfield Police reports. Geah Kai, 41, of Liberia was arrested Sunday for driving with a suspended license, according to Bannockburn Police reports. Police spotted Kai driving westbound on Half Day Road in the vicinity of the Trinity International University campus when a check of the registration on the vehicle he was operating indicated he had a suspended license.
