Woman Arrested for Passing Counterfeit Bill

Cashay Lee-Hill, 17, of Milwaukee was arrested May 4 for felony forgery for trying to buy $8.68 worth of merchandise at Bed Bath and Beyond with a counterfeit $100 bill, according to Deerfield Police reports. After an employee at Bed, Bath and Beyond suspected the money was counterfeit and informed Deerfield Police, Lee-Hill was stopped by police as she and a companion, the driver of the car in which she was riding, tried to enter Interstate 94 at Waukegan Road, according to the report. While investigating the vehicle, police located a “thick white piece of paper stuffed into an open sunroof area between (the) roof of the car and the headliner.
