West Deerfield Township Seeks Holiday Sponsors
Help a a less fortunate Deerfield family by providing gifts and gift cards to help make their Christmas merry.
The Christmas season is not far off and, to most of us, this time of year means gifts, bountiful feasts and holiday glee. But not all Deerfield residents are so fortunate. West Deerfield Township is seeking area residents, groups or organizations to help low-income Deerfield families have a Merry Christmas by anonymously sponsoring those families that otherwise would have very little to put under their tree. "Our recipients have been particularly hard hit by the country's current economic conditions," said Julie Morrison, West Deerfield Township supervisor.
