Bulls To Leave Deerfield for 2014 Season

New Chicago Bulls practice facility replacing Berto Center will be on Chicago’s west side.

The Chicago Bulls will be leaving their Berto Center Deerfield Practice facility for a new site to be built near the United Center on Chicago’s west side, according to a new release from the team. The Bulls have trained at the Berto Center since 1992 and before that since 1985 at what is now the Deerfield Park District’s Sachs Recreation Center. The team announced plans to relocate training facilities to the city in June. I would love to see an Old Navy come to Deerfield. The one in HP went out years ago and the closest one is in Skokie or Vernon Hills. It's also too bad that a few people were able to create such a fuss that Walgreens didn't go in, but instead built a new building just down the road at Waukegan and Shermer - they wanted to be at Lake Cook and Waukegan.
