Takeda Pharmaceuticals to Receive Business of the Year Award

Takeda Pharmaceuticals of Deerfield will receive the Lake County Chamber of Commerce's Business of the Year Award at a dinner featuring keynote speaker Bill Kurtis on April 17 at the Lake Forest Club.

The Lake County Chamber of Commerce and guests will celebrate the organization’s 98th anniversary with a dinner celebration at the Lake Forest Club on April 17 to welcome new board members and honor outstanding business leaders within the chamber. The annual dinner is one of the chamber’s largest fundraisers with proceeds from the event being used to support member programming and services for the Lake County Chamber. This year's theme is "Innovation, Ingenuity & Reinvigorating Your Brand." Acclaimed producer, host and major market news anchor Bill Kurtis will provide the keynote address for the evening. Congressman Schneider to be Guest Speaker at Lake County Chamber Luncheon

The Lake County Chamber of Commerce's 6th annual 'Forecast Lake County' luncheon will be held Tuesday, Feb. 19 at the Cuneo Mansion and Gardens in Vernon Hills.

The Lake County Chamber of Commerce will host its 6th Annual Forecast Lake County Luncheon, which gives business and government leaders an opportunity to examine and explore the issues, economic opportunities and challenges facing the county in 2013. The luncheon, scheduled to take place at the Cuneo Mansion and Gardens in Vernon Hills, will begin with a half-hour networking opportunity for business attendees from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with the program beginning at 11:45 a.m.  “This signature event clearly represents an opportunity for business leaders throughout Lake County to obtain a better perspective of our economy and the issues that may affect business trends in the coming year,” said Nathan Streeter, chairman of the Lake County …
