With six votes in the comments section, New Trier's Maddie Mulford won Athlete of the Week. Mulford scored the only goal in New Trier’s 1-0 victory over Jacobs in the Sweet 16 of the Pepsi Showdown on Thursday. Mulford received a pass from Rachel Shellenback and slipped it past the keeper off the right post for the game-winner early in the second half.
