For those looking to score some Black Friday deals, here is a list of store hours at North Shore malls and large retailers. Old Orchard Shopping Mall, Skokie The outdoor shopping mall opens a bit earlier than usual for Black Friday. Shopping starts at 8 a.m. and closes at 10 p.m. Northbrook Northbrook Court opens slightly earlier and closes later than on a normal Friday. However, other Northbrook businesses, including some located in the mall, are keeping more extreme hours.
