DHS Students Develop Awareness at Snowball

Annual District 113 activity attracts 70 participants from Deerfield and Highland Park.

A group of 70 participants including students from Deerfield and Highland Park High Schools participated in Township High School District 113’s Operation Snowball recently at Camp McLean in Wisconsin. The group included 18 teen leaders, four teen directors and nine adult volunteers who along with the rest of the group worked to get a better understanding of the significance of community by association with positive individuals and teamwork, according to a news release from the District.
