Authorities in Las Vegas say Edward C. Brandt of Lake Forest shot a 30-year-old concierge desk worker at a casino hotel before killing himself Friday, according to the Chicago Tribune. Jessica Corinne Kenny of Las Vegas was shot at the Excalibur resort, where she worked as the concierge desk worker for the travel website Vegas.com, ABC 7 News in Chicago reported on Monday. Kenny was a 2000 graduate of Grayslake High School, according to the Daily Herald. "Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family at this most difficult time," Denise Kindle, assistant superintendent for personnel services at Grayslake High School District 127, told the Daily Herald.
