Police Blotter: Police Catch Fugitive and More

Fugitive Apprehension Sarah Cross, 24, of West Dundee was arrested Feb. 7 by Deerfield Police as a fugitive from justice for a 2009 retail theft charge, according to Deerfield Police reports. Cross contacted police herself when she was locked out of her car in a building on Lake Cook Road. Police asked for her driver’s license to assure she should be in the car and a check showed she was wanted in McHenry County for a 2009 retail theft charge, according to the report. Cross was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in McHenry County court at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday in Woodstock.
