Customers and merchants call weekend event a success.
Shoppers were finding bargains at Deerfield Square’s annual Sidewalk Sale Thursday through Sunday and merchants were pleased with the event. At b friends, Mckayla O’Neal of Deerfield found three rings for $1, according to her mother, Lisa O’Neal. That section did particularly well, according to Ricki Goldstick. “The $1 table went real fast,” Goldstick said. Earlier: Heartache Tonight Kicks off Sidewalk Sale Debbie Applebaum of Glenview was looking at numerous dresses at Avenue Fashions while Debbie Hickey of Deerfield was seeking bargains at Footloose. “Anything that is a good bargain I desire,” Hickey said.
