Evanston man arrested after causing disturbance while attempting to file paperwork with the circuit court clerk.
Employees at the Lake County Circuit Court Clerk's Office hit the panic button Wednesday when an Evanston man caused a disturbance by refusing to provide his ID while attempting to file paperwork. Lee Fainman, 37, of the 1300 block of Oak in Evanston, was arrested by the Lake County Sheriff's Office at 2:15 p.m. Wednesday and charged with obstructing a peace officer and disorderly conduct, according to a sheriff's department press release. The Lake County Sheriff’s Office Court Security Division received a panic alarm from the Circuit Clerks Office located at 18 N County St. in Waukegan.
